Black licorice and berry aromas follow through to a medium body, with well-integrated tannins and a silky finish. A little hollow.

From 1940 until his death in 1967 and despite the frost of 1956, René MOREAUD renovated the vineyards planting Merlot and Cabernet Franc, producing a fine quality wine, highly sought-after by the Bordelais and Libournais merchants for export. The crop is aged in oak barrels. A third of the barrels is replaced every year. The Cormeil-Figeac wines are powerful, and rich with cedar and red berry aromas.
